“Lovin’ Lynn”
Beyond Walls

Lynn murals add a special touch to the charming Massachusetts town in Essex County. As the ninth largest city in the state and less than 15 minutes away from the historic witchtown of Salem, Massachusetts, there’s something for everyone here. For me, it was all of the beautiful street art in Lynn created for Beyond Walls that were scattered about the city. So back in March, I explored the city one snowy day and received a warm welcome from large-scale murals by Don Rimx, Nicole Salgar and more.

Don Rimx
Don Rimx street art can be seen anywhere – from San Juan, to Bushwick and now even Lynn, Massachusetts. Bold, large-scale Lynn murals like Call of the Conch are so elaborate and full of life that they are hard to ignore.

Nicole Salgar and Chuck Berrett are the dynamic duo responsible for Lynn’s Warrior Woman mural in Central Sq. In the mural, a brave Wompanoag woman is aiming to shoot her arrow. She is high above building level and can be seen best from the train platform across the street.
