African-American artist, Hugo McCloud (@hugomccloudstudio), was inspired by his travels in Asia to begin collecting single-use plastic bags. They were reused for pieces in his exhibition from where i stand at The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, like “Back to the Wall,” which depicts a man traveling while pushing a variety of polyethylene sacks along with him on his laborious voyage.
